Spectacular higher-grade "Maroon Jersey" rookie card of "Slingin'" Sammy Baugh Quarterback for the Washington Redskins between 1937 and 1952. Baugh inducted into the charter class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963 set NFL records as a quarterback punter and defensive back. This well-centered example has been graded EX-MT 6 by PSA and although it appears to have been graded recently we are surprised that it hasn't received the half-point bump. Vivid color and image quality for the grade marred only by the black ink bleed so common to this issue. Still an outstanding card.
