Issued in Cuba in 1946 and 47 with packages of Propagandas Montiel caramel these cards are printed on extremely lightweight paper and are thus extraordinarily condition-sensitive. Since they were intended to be glued in an album the cards often have been removed from albums and thus often paper loss on the reverse. In fact between PSA and SGC no example from this set has ever graded higher than VG/EX making a GOOD 2 card an exceptional find.This Musial featuring the surface and corner wear typical of cards from the set has been assessed as being in GOOD condition by PSA. The card has a stain on the front which passes through to the rear.
