Stunning collection of six 1888 Allen & Ginter N29 athletes. The N28 and N29 sets are considered by many to be the most attractive sportscard sets ever produced. Featuring brilliant white backgrounds offset colorful player images and ornate text describing the player at the bottom along with elegant typography on the reverse each of the N29 cards are notated on the reverse as "Second Series " indicating an extension to the N28 series of 1887.The N29 checklist includes six baseball players but just one Hall of Famer catcher Buck Ewing.
