Exceptional original-owner rookie card of Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Gibson. Clean and well-centered, the card was well cared for during its life with one minor exception: his rookie uniform number, 58, has been written on the card reverse in ink. Of course Gibson was better known as number 45, which is the number he began wearing in 1960. Aside from the aforementioned writing and a slight bit of discoloration on the edges of the reverse, the card presents far better than the grade assigned by CGC; however, the grade is technically accurate. We'll note that the card presents extremely well in the CGC holder.
