In hopes of securing a contract with Fleer to print their baseball cards, the International Paper Co. printed 100 sheets of cards on a proposed card stock and delivered them to Fleer officials for evaluation. The sheets featured 66 cards, each double-printed for a total of 132, and included a variety of errors and variations, with many incorrect picture/name combinations. Based on the print run, no more than 200 cards of any player were produced. To avoid confusion, each card has the words "TEST CARD" as well as the letters "o" or "n" (or both) printed over the text box containing the player's name.

The sheet notably included a rookie card of future Hall of Famer and Iron Man Cal Ripken, although despite being double-printed, only one of the two cards correctly identifies Ripken as Ripken. The second card picturing Ripken on the sheet identifies him as Dave Ford. As such, the cards are incredibly scarce - 100 properly identifying Ripken, the other 100 appearing like this example, identifying him as pitcher Dave Ford.

The card is strong, perhaps EX-MT condition with a slight L-R centering issue. Slightly toned, the image is strong and clean. Perhaps the most desirable of Ripken's rookie cards, and certainly the most scarce, graded AUTHENTIC by PSA, presumably because the card was never actually issued.
