Fully executed 1948 Brooklyn Dodgers contract for George "Shotgun" Shuba's rookie season. Signed by both Shuba and Branch Rickey (HOF), the contract calls for an annual salary of $5,000 and was signed on July 2, 1948. Shuba's signature is in black ink, and Rickey's is in blue ballpoint with significant ink skipping as it appears the pen was running out. Excellent condition with some wear at the edges; the contract also comes with two Dodgers mailing envelopes. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
