Colorful 6" x 8 3/4" two-page, four-panel scorecard for a June 12, 1895 game between Philips Andover Academy and Lawrenceville School. The two college prep schools met up at the Andover campus, and, based on the scoring of the game, it was a rout for Andover. The scorecard is printed on heavy board; years of opening and closing have caused it to separate at the fold in most places, held together by about an inch of its original paper. String binding is ornamental only (this is just a two-page scorecard, binding is unnecessary), and has become frayed and twisted a bit with age, yet still presents well. Mild soiling reduces the brightness somewhat, though the piece still presents well.
