Collection includes: 1) 1949 Roster: poor condition, the spine repaired with clear tape, tri-fold piece containing the roster and biographical information of the team (including Shuba). 2) 1948 Brooklyn Dodgers Official Scorecard: July 29 game against the St. Louis Cardinals, home runs from Roy Campanella and Gil Hodges. VG condition. 3) 1950 Jersey Giants Official Scorecard: Game against the Montreal Royals with Shuba batting cleanup and playing right field for Montreal. It appears he went 3-for-3 with two runs scored. EX condition. 4) 1951 Montreal Royals Holiday Card: FAIR condition, ostensibly sent to Shuba, possibly signed by Romeo Gauvreau, one of the team's owners. 5) 1954 National League Letters: Pair of letters sent to all NL players and to NL Player Rep Ralph Kiner from the League office, outlining new rules and policies. VG condition with some age-related toning at the edges and some light wrinkling from storage. 6) 1948 World Series Receipts Outline: Copy of a document that outlines gate receipts and the amounts sent out to players. VG/EX. 7) Additional Correspondence (6): Form, business and personal letters to Shuba from a variety of baseball-related folks, most notably Peter O'Malley, as well as Roger Kahn, author of The Boys of Summer regarding the publication of the book. 8) Brooklyn Dodgers Spring Training Letterhead: Three blank sheets of letterhead from the Brooklyn Dodgers Spring Training camp in Vero Beach, FL.
