Nice mid-grade example of #297-8, depicting pitcher Mike Mattimore crouched to field a grounder. Mattimore appears on an amazing 11 different N172 poses and ten of them, including this one, show his team as either New York or Philadelphia. 

The PSA VG-EX 4 grade reflects good centering, moderate image definition, and light, balanced corner wear with one bump at the lowerright. Cut with a slight tilt, noted here for accuracy, the corner wear is minimal and the image quality reasonable for the issue. Combined population reports show five total graded examples, with just one PSA rated higher!
