Forever linked in song (Terry Cashman's "Willie, Mickey and the Duke" is probably the best-known baseball song ever written) and also in New York sports history, Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle and Duke Snider were the subject of infinite arguments during the 1950s as Yankee, Giants and Dodgers fans sparred over which team had the best centerfielder. During the autograph boom in the late 80s and early 90s, the three made card show appearances together, greeting fans and signing autographs. Today, clean baseballs signed by all three are highly desirable. This Rawlings Official National League (White) ball has been well cared for and is as white as new, with three bold, blue ballpoint signatures. The two National Leaguers respectfully left the sweet spot for Mantle, his signature applied larger than is often seen on baseballs.
