Future AL MVP Jackie Jensen started 1952 a bit slow, so these Yankees traded him to Washington, where he recovered his swing well enough to reach his first of three career All-Star games. Jensen was a consistent contact hitter with power and speed, leading the AL in steals, triples, and RBI during an 11-year career.
