This shows one of T206's tough Sovereign 150 backs on a Hall of Fame Giants player and manager, so will be appealing to a whole range of prewar collectors. In the image, John McGraw signals to his team, or maybe the umpires, while wearing a full-length uniform with undersleeves, so he must been out there on a cold day.
Richly colored and centered just a touch to the right, its front has a nice, bright look. The SGC FR 1.5 grade covers its rounded corners, handful of bumps to its edge, and crease at upper left. The back shows light toning and "314" in pencil, likely as a tracking number from an earlier collector. A challenging and desirable card, regardless of condition!
