Desirable ballpark postcard featuring New York's Polo Grounds with advertisement from A.G. Spalding at the bottom edge. Seldom seen in any condition, the c.1910 card is among the toughest Polo Grounds postcards to source and features a view of the park as it appeared in 1909. Card exhibits visible soiling towards the top with a few abrasions around the perimeter and at the corners. A postally unused example with varying degrees of toning present to reverse. This card is a companion to the equally scarce West Side Grounds ballpark postcard with A.G. Spalding advertising found elsewhere in this auction. While we did submit this card for grading with SGC, it was returned to us unholdered.
