Attractively posed early football-related cabinet photo depicting a player in full gear with studio backdrop. Close inspection of ball being used as a prop at his feet reveals a date of "1900" applied across it's face. Mounted to 3.25" x 5" the photo itself measures approx. 2.25" x 3.5" with a spot of abrasion by the player's right hip and and small areas of surface loss at upper-left. Mount exhibits wear and abrasion at the edges with a single handwritten notation on verso. A smaller cabinet photo but with enormous eye appeal.
