Gorgeous 1971-72 Topps card for the Hall of Famer, with era-defining text stylings, colors, and designs. After just two seasons, Alcindor (the future Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) had one NBA title under his belt and no doubt wondered how many more would follow. The PSA NM 7 reflects its slightly touched corners, centering a touch southward, and otherwise lovely, balanced look.
Note how his jersey lacks a location Topps couldn't show at this time, unless the jersey photo used the team's city (Milwaukee) and not the nickname (Lakers). While things have improved on cards since then, it adds a touch of mystique to those vintage looks.
