Mailed in 1950, self-addressed GPC signed and inscribed by Jackie Robinson, ostensibly a fan mail request. Robinson's familiar "Best wishes" salutation and signature lie at the center of the card, bold and legible. Despite having gone through the postal stream, the piece exhibits little wear, partiularly on the signature side, which shows a few stray marks and minor stains, none of which detract from the signature.
