Based on their surviving baseball cards alone, Cuban baseball seems full of players who spent 15-20 years as professionals and Isidro Fabre's no exception. This winter league set shows him in the cap for Alemendares, who benefited from Isidro's excellent pitching for several seasons. He went on to a long career with the Negro Leagues and Black baseball teams of Cuban stars, reaching the country's Baseball Hall of Fame in 1957. 

The SGC VG 3 grade reflects its touched corners, centering to the southwest on its reverse, and what appears to be a surface indentation. Its strong central portrait exceeds the quality seen on newspapers of its era and resembles higher technical scores. Nacionales brand cigars produced a massive, 1000-card set across many subjects of that era and their baseball series (C21-C60) includes just 40 in all. The cards are exceptionally difficult, and this example is exquisite, with a wonderful image and very little wear. The SGC population report shows eight total for this number and just two higher!
