1972 Topps Winner baseball cards were part of a contest run in select markets during the 1971 season. 25 Grand Prize winners were chosen at random, and they had their choice of A) 1,000 copies of their own baseball card and a box of 1972 Topps or B) a complete set of 1972 Topps cards, containing all series. At least 19 of the 25 winners took Choice A. Over the past 50+ years, a few of the cards have surfaced.
