SGC VG 3 card from a tobacco sponsor of the 1948-49 Puerto Rican winter league, whose Alonso (sic Alfonso on the grading slip) Perry grade shows light surface marks on each side, with touched corners and foxing on its bottom edge. Many collectors of this era pasted players into a provided album to build out their collection. The population report shows seven total graded examples and just one higher! Its central image remains strong and clear, regardless of technical grade.
Note its numbered backs appear to be a flipping game rather than a traditional checklist, with game positions and play results appearing on multiple different player cards (This particular back appears to give its flipper a double). "Free distribution" (in Spanish) implies cards were given out, perhaps to fans who attended games.
