Autographed 1949 Bowman of 5-time All-Star first baseman Ferris Fain, signed in blue ballpoint. Part of a collection of signed 1949 Bowman that was sold at auction more than a decade ago, which we have been offering over our last two auctions. Ferris started his string of consecutive All-Star appearances in 1950 and notched a pair of batting titles. The PSA VG-EX 4 grade reflects slight corner rounding and bump at lower left on the reverse. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA. The population report shows just five signed examples, with no higher technical grade!
