A classic Deadball Era ballpark, the beautiful and ornate Palace of the Fans stood from only 1902 to 1911. As a result, photographs and other material related to this early home for the Cincinnati Reds are rare in the hobby. The offered panoramic postcard remains among the toughest Palace postcards needed by many advanced collectors. Note that the black and white card predates 1908 as evidenced by the undivided back. Graded GOOD 2 by SGC, this attractive postally-unused example exhibits minor rounding at the corners with two small pencil notations on reverse.
