Boston outfielder Dick Johnston was a native of Kingston, New York, home of Love of the Game Auctions (he is buried just a mile or two from our building). He got his start in baseball playing with a team sponsored by the local newspaper, eventually making his way to the Beaneaters before jumping to the Players League in 1890. This example has been graded GOOD 2 by SGC due to some foxing and age-related discoloration, along with some adhesive staining on the reverse. One of just three examples graded by either PSA or SGC, with only one higher.
