Bazooka printed baseball cards on its boxes throughout the 1960s and this 1968 issue might be their most distinctive, as four slim player poses occupied the sides of each 25-piece box, with a how-to "Tipps from the Topps" panel covering advice from a fifth player on the reverse.

The five players on this box are Pirates legend Roberto Clemente (HOF), Tony Perez (HOF), Don Mincher, Al Downing, and Mike McCormick on the tips panel. The PSA FR 1.5 grade reflects normal box folding and some creasing along the Mincher-Perez side panel. It is possible the tape residue on the end flap and back panel reflects normal retail use, as does the 23-cent ink stamp that provides a slight discount on its retail cost. The Clemente panel remains clean and a highlight for this unusual piece of Topps/Bazooka history.
