Infielder Harry McArdle played 13 seasons in the minors most with the San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast League. A weak-hitting shortstop his batting average did not eclipse .200 for three consecutive seasons between 1908 and 1910 and yet he still managed 558 at bats or better each of those seasons. This extremely scarce issue was produced by Los Angeles confectioner Bishop & Co. the first of two baseball card sets from that company and featured five players from each of the six PCL teams of 1910. Graded VG 40 by SGC the card has some minor discoloration and a slight tilt but the scarcity more than makes up for the card's technical falws. A tremendous example of an extremely tough and desirable PCL issue. Population Data SGC Population: 5 total graded 3 at this level 0 higher PSA Population: 2 total graded 2 at this level 0 higher
