Outstanding trio of 1890s studio cabinets each featuring heavyweight champion John L. Sullivan. All three cabinets herald Sullivan as "Champion of the World " one picturing the champ in dapper street clothes one a full-body pose in his boxing attire a third a shirtless portrait. Three of many cabinets issued of Sullivan by a host of manufacturers during the era these are particularly pleasing to the eye each exhibiting varying degrees of wear to the mount but overall strong photos. The backs of all three cabinets do exhibit some foxing with some added water staining on the back, a heavy crease repaired on the reverse with tape on the folded arms example. Three cabinets total.
