Turn of the Century issues featuring Hughie Jennings are among our favorites in the hobby because so many depict his antics as a base coach. His dancing and shouting screaming "Eee-yah!" and spreading his enthusiasm for the game and his Tigers is probably the reason Jennings is best remembered today. This Wolverine postcard depicts Jennings "On the Coaching Line " wearing his Tigers uniform and sweater. Graded VG 40 by SGC the image quality is strong with minor wear at the corners and edges consistent with the grade. An excellent document of one of the more interesting prewar baseball legends.
