One of ten different poses of "Dad" Clarke, pictured at the very beginning of his 7-year major league career. Though he would star for the 1895 and 1896 New York Giants, Clarke would pitch in just two major league games in 1888, spending the rest of the year with the Omaha Omahogs of the Western Association.  Despite that, he is pictured here with Chicago, on a very attractive card graded EX 5 by PSA, with an MK qualifier. The qualifier speaks to some very light marks on the reverse that have either faded or been erased. Either way, this card is the only example of this pose and team combination graded by PSA, a very strong example.
