Flick remains one of the best-hitting players all-time and was inducted somewhat on the strength of contemporary player Branch Rickey, who used his 1960s executive influence to highlight Elmer to the Veterans Committee. The SGC VG 3 grade reflects a bit of corner wear, haze in the yellow field, and black print registration a touch south. Its excellent overall presentation suits a mid-grade set.
