Urban "Red" Faber is one of the more underrated Hall of Famers among collectors his career often overshadowed by contemporaries Grover Alexander Dazzy Vance Lefty Grove and others. Still his lifetime ERA of 3.15 was exceptional given that his prime seasons came at the dawn of the live ball era he won 20 games four times in his career and averaged 16 complete games a season for his career. Captured toward the beginning of his career this exceptional M101-4 blank back of Faber is graded VG 40 by SGC due largely to a single crease that traverses the center of the card. Corners edges and image quality appear much greater than the assigned grade.
