Exceptional Adirondack bat, measuring 34 1/2" and weighing 30.8 ounces, as used by Baltimore Orioles catcher Rick Dempsey. Dated to 1983, the bat was consigned from the estate of former Orioles broadcaster Ted Patterson, who knew Dempsey well.  The bat's weight (31) is written on the knob in ballpoint pen, and Dempsey has signed the bat in black marker on the right barrel.
