Pair of original news service photos from Underwood documenting enthusiastic World Series crowds. Both photos measure approximately 8" x 10" with some degree of chipping and rounding to corners. Included: 1) Crowds outside of Shibe Park prior to Game 2 of the 1913 World Series. Mild toning present to verso with a full paper caption still affixed. Date stamping of October 5, 1913 has been applied, indicating image may in-fact have been captured just prior to start of the World Series. 2) A throng of eager fans, acutely aware of cameras in front of them, stand outside Yankee Stadium early in the AM prior to Game 1 of the 1928 World Series. Underwood paper caption remains affixed along top edge. Two photos total, each guaranteed to return as Type I examples if submitted to PSA for authentication.
