Exceptional, higher-grade card of Duke Farrell, who posted a .277 lifetime batting average across 18 major league seasons. He played phenomenal ball with the 1891 Boston Reds, batting .302 with 12 home runs and 110 RBI (leading the league in the latter two categories), and played in the first World Series with Boston 12 years later. Retiring in 1905, he continued working in baseball right up until passing away in 1925. The card itself is outstanding, with a sharp image and clean overall appearance.
