The "miscut" designation assigned by PSA to this card of Sioux City outfielder Ed Glenn is, of course, debatable as all the Old Judge cards were cut by hand at the factory. Many cards from the issue, as a result, exhibit irregular cuts, tilts, odd sizes and irregular borders and pass through grading companies without notice; once in a while, a "miscut" or "minimum size" modifier will show up in a submission. This example has a small strip of text at the bottom line in the text box that has been impacted by the cut; similarly, the image is truncated at the top border as well. The card has simply been cut short, at the factory, as is the case with many others. Some may elect to call this "miscut," most advanced collectors understand that this is simply a manufacturing issue typical with N172 cards.
