Exceptionally rare Old Judge cabinet of outfielder and second baseman Elmer Foster, pictured with the New York Giants, where he batted .147 in 136 at bats with the 1888 World Champions. The only example of this pose to be graded by PSA, the card corresponds with the very difficult card #168-4 in the N172 Old Judge issue, a card so difficult that this very cabinet was used as the plate specimen to illustrate the card in The Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin & Company. Though on cabinets this rare with images this strong, the technical grade is largely irrelevant, PSA has assigned a grade of GOOD 2 due to overall wear, including some minor foxing and surface abrasions.
