Clean, strong examples of the first set checklists issued by Topps to help collectors find every number in their set. Prior to 1956, Topps and Bowman jousted often over player contracts, making checklists impractical additions to their sets, lest they publish a list that turned out to be incorrect. Once Topps gained exclusive access to bubblegum cards, they made these checklists a regular part of annual sets.

Each PSA EX-MT 6 grade reflects cards free of major defects, with touched corners and centering a bit north. Each shows small dots on the reverse that appear to be part of their original stock.
