Ex-Cleveland ace Mike Garcia, winner of two AL ERA titles, made the move to bullpen work by this point in his excellent career and finished it with two stints away from his familiar Cleveland digs, one here in Chicago and then another in Kansas City. Topps released this series in midseason 1960 and its note about his release refers to the first time Chicago cut him that year, and he would be picked up by the pale hose again in September.
