Hats off to Gil McDougald and his eight AL pennants and five World Series rings with the Yankees. His infield versatility and postseason hitting proved key to their 1950s dominance and I'm sure it surprised local fans when he retired at age 32 to coach at the college level. This clean card is centered a touch southeast on the front and shows a small print spot on the reverse cream label. It was graded PSA MINT 9 and the population report shows none graded higher!
