Circa 1951 Real Photo Postcard depicting Hall of Fame pitcher Satchel Paige in his St. Louis Browns uniform. Paige pitched for the Browns between 1951 and 53 assembling an 18-23 record with the team while serving as an inspiration to all of us 40-something athlete wannabes. Paige's true legend came of course with the American Negro Leagues as one of its ambassadors and most famous exports. This card roughly VG/EX in condition features a crisp image with strong contrast the photographer capturing 45 or so years of wisdom in Paige's eyes.
