This T206 Polar Bear card shows the "batting" pose for Danny Murphy, one of many early 19th century players to appear in three major leagues, starting with 1900-01 New York (NL), followed by more than a decade under Connie Mack (AL), and finishing with the 1914-15 Federal League Brooklyn Tip-Tops. Polar Bear backs prove somewhat harder to find than Piedmont, the most common back brand. The PSA GD 2 grade reflects corner rounding, a vertical crease, and number written in red ink on the reverse.
