This T206 Old Mill (brown ink) card shows the "Buffalo" variation for second baseman George "Heinie" Smith, who spent most of the 1900s decade playing for Eastern League teams like Buffalo, following his major league run with Louisville, New York, and Detroit from 1897-1903.
PSA's population reports show they grade Old Mill backs at one-tenth the rate of Piedmont (its most common back), making them one of the tougher T206 variations. Its PSA PR 1 grade reflects corner rounding and horizontal creases.
