The subject of confusion and controversy, Pacific Sports Promotions produced 500 sets of baseball cards from the Hawaii Winter League, two of which are the only known cards of young Ichiro Suzuki in this uniform. Though speculation is that the cards were reprinted much later, legend is that cards from the original 1993 set are very scarce today. Even today, conflicting information abounds about this issue and its legitimacy, and the major grading companies have all stopped grading the cards as a result. Despite the questions, the cards are still prized by collectors of the Hall of Famer, many of whom consider the card integral to completing a player set regardless of whether the cards were issued in 1993 or subsequent to that. Presented here is an example of the #5 gold facsimile signature insert card from Ichiro, graded GEM MINT 10 by PSA.
