Pair of companion piece tins from the Bishop & Company and Standard Biscuit brands. Includes the following tins:

1. (left) Handsome red tin once housing Standard Biscuit's "Golden Nugget" Macaroon confections. Measuring approximately 7" x 7" x 2", the colorful tin is hinged on one edge, and retains a tight seal but opens and closes cleanly. Some areas of surface abrasion have rubbed off the paint in small areas, and some oxidation has become visible here and there, but overall, an outstanding piece. Of particular interest to sports hobbyists due to the company's involvement with the D350-1 and D350-2 baseball card issues of 1916 and 1917.

2. (right) Attractive 4" high cylindrical tin that once housed Bishop's brand peanut butter. With gold, blue and cream-colored external graphics, the can has retained its original shape, oxidizing in areas to a dark patina. Some rust is evident inside the can, which opens and closes with ease. The patina is also evident on the top edge, partially obscuring the message "If you could see the cleanly manner in which this delicious Bishop Peanut Butter is prepared, you would understand that you cannot buy anything more healthful for your table." Of particular interest to hobbyists due to the company's production of several PCL issues in 1910 and 1911, including the E99, E100 and E221 sets.
