The 1953 Canadian Exhibit issue is an interesting one containing a blend of major and minor league players (the Montreal Royals of the International League) produced in much smaller quantities than the American Exhibit sets and issued only in Canada. Unlike the American Exhibit sets the cards in the Canadian issue were numbered and issued in two series of 32 cards each. The Major League players are made with images reused from past Exhibit cards while the Montreal players feature unique poses. Offered are 30 of the 32 cards featured in Series 2 missing just Tommy Lasorda and Stan Musial for completion. Notable inclusions among the Montreal players are pre-rookie cards of Dodgers legends Sandy Amoros and Walter Alston (HOF) plus Don Hoak Norm Larker Ed Roebuck and Rocky Nelson. Major League players include Walker Cooper Mickey Vernon Del Ennis Dick Sisler Billy Goodman and Alex Kellner. This is a tremendous collection largely in higher grade averaging EX-MT to NM with a few lesser. 30 cards total.
