While Exhibits were manufactured over the course of many years - many decades in fact - it is the 1920s issues that we find the most appealing. Making use of clean high quality photography the Exhibit cards depict ballplayers at a time when baseball wasn't the sanitized game it is today; the photos reveal stained uniforms frayed shirtsleeves baseball gloves stuffed in back pockets and other fascinating details we just don't see in the modern era. Presented here is a collection of 36 cards from the 1922 Exhibits set representing a little less than half the set. The cards are for the most part in F-P condition yet remain attractive due to the clarity of their photography. A few have clipped or severely worn corners a few have writing on the reverse that is so common with cards of this size. Still this is an outstanding collection of 1920s Exhibits representing nearly half the set. Included in the collection are Turner Barber Carlson Bigbee George Burns Jeo Bush Jim Caveney Wilbur Cooper George Cutshaw Dave Danforth Bill Doak Joe Dugan Howard Emke Wally Gerber Wilbur Hubbell Bill Jacobson Joe Judge Walter Mails Lee Meadows Bing Miller Hack Miller Bob Meusel Harry Myers Art Nehf Geo O'Neil Roger Peckinpaugh Val Picinick Bill Piercy Del Pratt Jack Quinn Everett Scott Earl Smith (full body pose) Earl Smith (squatting pose) Jack Smith Sherrod Smith Milton Stock Specs Torporcer and Clarence Walker. 36 cards total.
