Very rare 1924 Diaz Cigarettes 8.5" x 11" hardcover album featuring the Almendares team. One of four such albums from the issue devoted to a different Cuban League squad, including: Almendares, Havana, Marianao, and Santa Clara. Two-page spread, still bound into the album, displays sepia images of the following Almendares players: Valentin Dreke, Oscar Fuhr, Isidro Fabre, Armando Marsans, Bernardo Baro, Jose Rodriguez, Jakie May, Rafael Almeida, Oscar Tuero, Willis Flournoy, Cheo Ramos, Eusebio Gonzalez, Jesse Hubbard, Manuel Cueto, Snake Henry, Eugenio Morin, Paito Herrera, Ramon Gonzalez, Lucas Boada, Oscar Rodreguez, and Jose Maria Fernandez. These album pages are in FAIR condition with staining. Album also includes the introductory front page, which is well worn and has separated from the other pages, thus presenting in POOR condition. Regardless, an incredibly rare piece featuring an important Cuban League team.
