1946 edition of the American Card Catalog, "The Handbook for all Card Collectors." Published by hobby pioneer Jefferson Burdick, the digest-sized publication opens with general information on various card types, followed by a listing of card issues and prices for each.  1933 Goudeys at two cents each! The back of the publication contains ads from many collectors, including familiar hobby pioneers like Wirt Gammon, Dr. Lawrence Kurzrok, Lionel Carter ("If you have Baseball Cards to swap or sell - why not take my Cards or my money?"), and Charles Bray. Overall excellent condition, save for heavy toning at all four edges, discoloring the blue cover to brown.  The year 1946 is written in black marker at the top of the page.  Also includes the 1949 supplement insert, three pages of updated prices and information.
