1953 Reds team-signed baseball with 25 signatures, from the estate of Clyde King. King pitched in 35 games with the club, his last season in the majors, primarily in relief. The unmarked ball has been signed in a combination of blue and black ink, with signatures including the following: King, Willard Marshall, Bob Kelly, Fred Baczewski, Bob Marquis, Jack Coolum, Ernie Nevel, Bobby Adams, Johnny Temple (2), Roy McMillan, Frank Baldwin, Hobie Landrith, Howie Judson, Ken Raffensberger, Buster Mills, Herm Wehmeier (ss), Bob Borkowski, Gus Bell, Rocky Bridges, Bud Podbelian, Harry Perkowski, Bubba Church, Frank Smith. The Rogers Hornsby signature has been deemed a clubhouse, unfortunately. The ball is a Cincinnati Reds promotional baseball of unknown manufacturing origin, but is clean and presents well. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
