After being released by Detroit in 2015, pitcher Joba Chamberlain signed a minor league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays. He was assigned to the Buffalo Bisons of the International League, and he exercised an opt-out in his contract that allowed him to become a free agent again on August 14, never having thrown a pitch with Toronto. Two days after declaring free agency, he signed with the Kansas City Royals, where he had six appearances that earned him his second World Series ring. This Blue Jays team bag obviously saw very little use, and is in outstanding condition as a result.
