The 1936 R311 Leather premium issue is among the most attractive and interesting premium issue of the gum card era the photography crisp and sharp capturing some of the game's greatest legends. 1935 Yankees team image pictures them lined up in front of a parking lot, cars in background.  Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig, Lefty Gomez, Tony Lazzeri, Red Ruffing and Bill Dickey are all present in the photo. The mylar baggie has slid beneath the black SGC gasket, but the photo itself remains strong for the grade, which we believe was largely assessed due to staining on the reverse.
