One of the more important of the key Hall of Famers in the T206 issue, the portrait card of Christy Mathewson presented here would certainly grade no better than FAIR 1.5, as it does exhibit light creasing throughout, across Matty's face and northward from his jawline to his ear, as well as above his right shoulder. Heavier corner creases can be seen at both bottom corners.  Regardless SGC has rendered the grade moot by assigning an AUTHENTIC designation, stating the minimum size has not been met, indicating an authentic cut but a slight size issue.
